MaxMobAI (Salvador e Favero Tecnologia LTDA) operates AI Resume Builder. In this policy, "we" and "our" refer to MaxMobAI. For privacy questions, contact maxmobai@icloud.com.

Creating and storing your documents

The app uses the information you enter to create, edit and export resumes and cover letters. You can provide:

Personal and contact details: name, professional title, email address, phone number, location or address, website or professional profile, and nationality.
Professional and academic information: work experience, employers, education, institutions, dates, courses, certificates, skills, languages and awards.
References: other people's names, job titles, employers, relationship to you, email addresses and phone numbers.
Application information: the job you are applying for, the employer, and the cover letter sender and recipient.
Text you write: career objectives, summaries, descriptions, custom sections and other free text.
Optional document content: a profile photo and information for a QR code.

Your documents are stored on your device. When iCloud synchronization is enabled, they also synchronize with your private Apple iCloud database. You choose profile photos from your library or take them with the camera. When you export or share a document, you choose where to save or send the exported copy.

Sharing data with OpenAI

Recipients and purposes

With your explicit permission, the app sends AI requests to MaxMobAI's server, hosted by Heroku (Salesforce). Our server sends the request content to OpenAI to generate resume text, write cover letters or assess resumes.

Data sent with an AI request

The information sent depends on the AI feature you request and the details you have provided. An AI request can contain:

Your name and professional title.
Your work experience, employers, education, institutions, professional and academic locations, dates, courses, certificates, skills, languages and awards.
The job description, target employer, and cover letter sender and recipient names.
Career objectives, professional summaries, descriptions, custom section text and other free text used by the requested feature.
The requested AI feature and output language.

Your profile photo is not sent to OpenAI.

Giving and withdrawing permission

Before your first AI request, the app explains the data, recipients and purposes and asks you to choose Allow or Not now.

Allow: authorizes all current AI features. The app saves your choice on your device and reuses it for later AI requests in the same installation.
Not now: cancels the pending AI action. You can continue editing documents manually and using features that do not require AI.
Withdraw permission: open the app's Settings and select Withdraw AI permission. This stops new AI requests. It does not delete information already sent.

After you withdraw permission, the app asks again if you try to use AI. Sharing data beyond the scope you authorized requires new permission.

Other data and recipients

Security and service requests

The app uses Apple's App Attest to verify requests. It automatically sends installation identifiers, verification data, timestamps and request counts to our server to authenticate requests, prevent abuse and enforce usage limits. Heroku hosts our server and security database.

Our services receive your IP address and request details when the app connects to them, including for template downloads and connectivity checks. Security checks and service requests operate independently of your AI permission.

Advertising

Google AdMob automatically processes IP addresses, approximate location, permitted device identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic and performance data. Google uses this data to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and improve its services.

Tracking and access to the Advertising Identifier require Apple's tracking permission. Without that permission, the app requests limited ads. We do not share resume or cover letter content for advertising.

You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions and payments. The app checks your subscription status to provide purchased features. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple ID.

Support

When you contact us, we receive your email address and the information in your message. We use that information to handle your request.

Third parties receiving data will provide the same or equivalent protection described in this policy, under their applicable service and data-protection terms:

Retention and deletion

Your documents

Resumes and cover letters remain on your device and in iCloud until you delete them in the app. Deletion synchronizes with iCloud when connectivity permits. Deleting a document in the app does not delete copies you previously exported or shared. Manage those copies where you saved or sent them.

AI content

MaxMobAI's server does not keep a database of the content sent to or generated by AI. We disable OpenAI's optional response storage and have not enabled sharing of API data for model training.

OpenAI may retain request and response content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, or longer when legally required or necessary to protect its services or others from harm. See OpenAI's API data controls. Disabling optional response storage does not prevent this retention and does not delete responses stored before the setting was disabled.

Technical and security records

Temporary server records are removed through routine rotation or cleanup. Installation security records have no automatic deletion period. Withdrawing AI permission does not delete technical or security records.

Support messages and provider records

We retain support correspondence to handle requests and meet applicable legal obligations. Support correspondence has no fixed automatic deletion period.

Apple and Google retain data processed by their services according to the Apple Privacy Policy, the Google Privacy Policy and the settings that apply to those services.

Requesting deletion

To request deletion of personal data held by MaxMobAI, email maxmobai@icloud.com. We may ask for information to verify your request and find the relevant records. We assess requests under applicable law and explain any legal, security or technical limits on deletion.
